Spring After School Classes 2025

Classes start the week of March 31st

Weaving    1st-4th grade     $300

This class is held at 12 Upton Street in Cambridge, directly across from the Amigos School. Children will learn to weave on a variety of looms creating useful and fun items. They will weave a variety of projects such as scarves, Japanese cords, potholders, tiny turtles, circle weavings or baskets. This class meets from 3:30 – 4:45 on the following Mondays:
3/31, 4/7, 4/14, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12, 5/19 & 6/2

Doll House Building
2nd-6th grade           $320 

Design and build a doll house, a haunted castle or
a superhero's den, while learning to use hand tools safely.
This class meets on from 3:30 - 4:45 on the following Tuesdays:
4/1, 4/8, 4/15, 4/29, 5/6, 5/13, 5/20 & 5/27
It is recommended that children taking this class also take the Miniatures to Fill your Doll House class.

Miniatures to Fill your Doll House
2nd-6th grade                          $240

Working in wood, clay, fabric, paint and many other materials build furniture, weave a rug, print wallpaper, and make people and their pets to live in your wooden home. This class meets from 5:00-6:00 on the following Tuesdays:
4/1, 4/8, 4/15, 4/29, 5/6, 5/13, 5/20 & 5/27

Woodworking     JK/K1 - 2nd grade $320

Design and build projects, while learning to safely use hand tools. Projects could include wooden animals, vehicles, mazes, stools or boxes. This class meets from 3:30-4:45 on the following Wednesdays: 4/2, 4/9, 4/16, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21 & 5/28

Messy Art           JK/K1- 2nd grade
$240

Mix, experiment and explore using many techniques, such as painting, collage, sculpting and building. Projects focus on having fun while making art.
This class meets from 5:00-6:00 on the following Wednesdays:
4/2, 4/9, 4/16, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21 & 5/28

Crocheting           4th – 8th grade
$300 

Learn basic crochet stitches and then move on to projects such as hats, baskets, stuffed animals and decorations.
New projects added each term.
This class meets from 3:30 - 4:45 on the following Thursdays:
4/3, 4/10, 4/17, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15, 5/22 & 5/29
