COVID POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Covid policies will be updated as regulations change. Masks for students are currently optional.
It is  possible that if a student or staff member tests positive for Covid-19 or is determined to have been a close contact to someone with Covid-19, the course may need to be cancelled or postponed.  If a child has a fever or other questionable symptoms we ask that they not attend that day's class.

Enrollment: Registration for classes is on a first come/first served basis. Registration for a class requires full payment of the tuition. A confirmation email will be sent soon after you enroll with a full registration form that must be returned as soon a possible.

Payment: Payments can be made through this website. If you cannot pay online please contact us for an alternate method of payment at 617-383-7780.

Refunds: Refunds will not be given for student absences, for health, scheduling conflicts, or any other reason. Any refund will be issued in the form of a check.

Cancellation: All Hands Allston reserves the right to cancel a course due to low enrollment or other emergent situations. If a course is cancelled you will be notified and offered a refund or the option of enrolling in an alternate program. For withdrawal from a class, refunds are only given if All Hands Allston is notified two full weeks before the start of the course, except for summer sessions when a full four (4) weeks notice is required for a refund.

Class Cancellation:
We follow Boston Public school cancellations for snow or inclement weather. The first class cancelled will have a makeup class on the same day and time one week after the course session ends. If more than one class in a given course is cancelled, make up sessions to complete projects will be offered the weekend following the extra class described above. You will be notified about the time and date of make-up classes.

Behavior Expectations: Students are expected to behave in a manner that does not disrupt the class or endanger themselves or others.

Clothing and Other Personal Items: Please wear and/or send children wearing clothing that may get dirty or have paint or other supplies spilled on them. A limited number of smocks and aprons will be available at the studio. All Hands Allston is not responsible for the loss, theft of or damages to clothing or other items brought to the studio.

Special Needs: Please inform All Hands Allston in advance of the first day of class if you or your child has special needs, including any managed medical conditions and all allergies (food, latex, chemical) the student may have.

ALL HANDS ALLSTON IS A NUT-FREE FACILITY

Food or Snacks: Eating is not typically allowed in the studio (exceptions are made for some circumstances, including medical necessity, by the staff of All Hands Allston). There is a 15 minute supervised snack break (often in the park) for children who are enrolled in two classes on the same afternoon. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to inform All Hands Allston about any food, or other allergies, and to send the child with their own snack if appropriate.

Student Pick-Up: Students will be released only to the parents/guardians or to the emergency contact person listed on the child’s application form, unless a special request is made in advance by email including pick up person name and contact information. The new pick up person will need to provide their ID. Pick up time is during the last five minutes of the scheduled class, please pick up your child in a timely manner. All Hands Allston reserves the right to charge parents/guardians a late fee starting at $10 for the first ten minutes, and then an additional $10 for every 10 minutes thereafter.
